Although there have been many changes over the years, one thing has always stayed the same. This is the "pride" of the home folks. About the Author Myrtle Krause Westphal graduated from Garden City High School and from Mankato State University with a degree in nursing. She worked in Mankato hospitals and for a dentist in Janesville, MN. She and her husband, Bernard Westphal, own and operated a farm in McPherson Township in Blue Earth County, Minnesota where they raised four sons. She enjoys gardening and genealogy.
